The Truth, The Reality, The Absolute Truth, one of the names of God in Islam (Al Haqq), meaning the Real, the True, the One whose existence is necessarily real and unchanging. The word الحق is a proper noun and a divine name. It is derived from the Arabic root "ح ق ق" (ha qaf qaf), which conveys the meanings of truth, reality, correctness, obligation, and right. In Arabic, "الحق" (Al Haqq) is one of the 99 names of Allah (Asma ul Husna). It appears in the Quran in Surah Al Hajj (22:6): "ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ اللَّهَ هُوَ الْحَقُّ" meaning "That is because Allah is the Truth". The word الحق is built from the Arabic definite article "ال" (al, the) and the noun "حق" (haqq, truth, right, reality). The root "ح ق ق" appears in many important words in Urdu: حق (haqq, right, truth), حقیقت (haqiqat, reality), حقدار (haqdaar, rightful owner), محق (muhaqq, one who establishes truth), and تحقیق (tehqeeq, research, verification). The word الحق is a proper noun when referring to God. It is not translated. It is recited.

In Islamic theology, الحق is one of the most profound names of God. It affirms that God is the ultimate reality. Everything else is contingent, dependent, and ultimately unreal in comparison.
