نوکری پیشہ طبقہ
Literally "the job-occupation class" or "the employment-profession class." It is a comprehensive sociological and economic term that refers collectively to the salaried class, the white-collar and formal sector workforce. This includes all individuals who earn a living through fixed, regular employment under an employer, whether in the public sector (government jobs), the private corporate sector, or large organized institutions. It encompasses a vast spectrum, from entry-level clerks and officers to mid-level managers, senior executives, and specialized professionals like doctors, engineers, accountants, and teachers working in structured organizations. Crucially, it distinguishes this group from the کاروباری طبقہ (business class), کسان (farmers/agricultural laborers), دہقان (peasants), مزدور طبقہ (blue-collar labor class), and the اشرافیہ (aristocracy/elite). It is the backbone of the modern urban economy, defined by its dependence on a monthly salary, structured career progression, and its role as the primary consumer of housing, education, and aspirational goods.
