تنگ جبڑا
Narrow jaw; tight jaw; a condition or anatomical feature characterized by insufficient width or space in the jawbone, particularly the lower jaw (mandible) or upper jaw (maxilla), often leading to dental crowding, malocclusion (improper bite), difficulty in chewing, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, and aesthetic concerns. تنگ (tang) is an adjective meaning narrow, tight, constricted, or cramped, derived from the Persian "تنگ" (tang), meaning narrow. جبڑا (jabra) is the Urdu noun for jaw, derived from the Persian "جَبْرَه" (jabra), meaning a bone, particularly the jawbone. Together, تنگ جبڑا refers to a jaw that is narrower than the normal anatomical range, either congenitally (present from birth) or acquired due to developmental issues, trauma, or dental problems. This term is used in dentistry, orthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and anatomy. It has negative polarity, as a narrow jaw is associated with various health and functional problems. The opposite concepts are "چوڑا جبڑا" (chaura jabra, wide jaw), "عام جبڑا" (aam jabra, normal jaw), or "وسیع جبڑا" (wasee jabra, broad jaw). The phrase is grammatically masculine (جبڑا is masculine) and is used with the adjective تنگ agreeing in gender.
