نقطہ انقلاب
Turning point; a critical moment of decisive change; a point of revolution; the point at which a significant change occurs, especially a change for the better or a fundamental shift in direction; a watershed moment. نقطہ (nuqta) is the Urdu noun meaning point, dot, spot, or detail, derived from the Arabic root ن ق ط (n q t), meaning to dot, to point, to mark. انقلاب (inqilab) is the Urdu noun meaning revolution, upheaval, radical change, or complete transformation, derived from the Arabic root ق ل ب (q l b), meaning to turn over, to invert, to change. Together, نقطہ انقلاب literally means "point of revolution" or "point of turning over". This phrase is used in history (critical events that changed the course of history), in personal development (moments that change a person's life), in business (market shifts), in science (critical thresholds), and in literature (climactic moments). The polarity is generally positive, as turning points often lead to improvement, though they can be negative if they lead to decline. The opposite concepts are "جمود کا نقطہ" (jamaud ka nuqta, point of stagnation) or "استحکام" (istehkaam, stability). The phrase is grammatically masculine (نقطہ is masculine), and "انقلاب" is a noun in the genitive construction (نقطہ انقلاب, point of revolution).
