اسلامیات لازمی
Compulsory Islamic studies, mandatory Islamic education, a required course or subject on Islamic teachings. This noun phrase refers to the compulsory subject of Islamic studies taught in schools, colleges, and universities in Pakistan and other Muslim majority regions. اسلامیات (Islamiyaat) means Islamic studies, the academic study of Islam, its teachings, history, law, and practices. لازمی (laazmi) means compulsory, mandatory, or required. Together, they mean "compulsory Islamic studies." The phrase is used in educational contexts, in government policy documents, in curriculum discussions, in student conversations, and in debates about education and religion. It has a neutral to positive polarity in mainstream discourse, though it can be controversial in secular contexts. The opposite would be "اختیاری اسلامیات" (ikhtiyaari Islamiyaat, optional Islamic studies) or "لازمی غیر اسلامیات" (laazmi ghair Islamiyaat, compulsory non Islamic studies). The phrase is formal.
