بے آرامی
Restlessness, unease, discomfort, the state of being unable to find rest or peace, whether physically or mentally. The phrase is composed of بے (be), meaning without, and آرامی (aarami), meaning rest, comfort, or peace. Together, they describe the condition or quality of being restless, of lacking tranquility, of being unable to settle. In Urdu, Be Aarami is used to describe physical restlessness, such as tossing and turning in bed, mental restlessness such as anxiety or worry, and general discomfort in any situation. The word carries the weight of the human struggle for peace, the frustration of being unable to rest, and the various causes of restlessness: illness, stress, guilt, excitement, or external disturbances. In South Asian culture, where hospitality includes providing comfort to guests, be aarami is a negative state to be alleviated. In Urdu poetry, be aarami is the state of the lover who cannot find peace because of separation from the beloved. The word appears in medical contexts, in psychological discussions, in everyday conversation about sleep and comfort.
